MINISTER OF FINANCE, AND GOVERNOR OF BANK INDONESIA

ON
SPECIAL SERVICE FOR CERTAIN EXPORTERS

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE, THE MINISTER OF FINANCE
AND THE GOVERNOR OF BANK INDONESIA,

Considering :

• a. that within the framework of promoting non-oil/gas exports, it is deemed necessary to provide special speedy service for export activities conducted by certain exporters;
• b. that for the purpose as meant above, it is necessary to issue a joint decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade, the Minister of Finance and the Governor of Bank Indonesia.

In view of:

• 1. Law No. 13/1968 on the central bank (Statute Book of 1968 No.63, Supplement to Statute Book No.2865);
• 2. Law No.5/1984 on industries (Statute Book of 1984 No.22, Supplement to Statute Book No.3274);
• 3. Law No.7/1992 on the banking system (Statute Book of 1992 No.31, Supplement to Statute Book No.3472);
• 4. Law No. 10/1995 on customs affairs (Statute Book of 1995 No.75, Supplement to Statute Book No.3612);
• 5. Government Regulation No. 1 /1982 on the realization of exports, imports and the flow of foreign exchange (Statute Book of 1982 No.1, Supplement to Statute Book No.3210) as already amended by Government Regulation No.24/1985 (Statute Book of 1985 No.33, Supplement to Statute Book No.3291);
• 6. Presidential Decree No.96/M/1993 as already amended by Presidential Decree No.388/M/1995;
• 7. Presidential Decree No.2/1996 on the amendment of Presidential Decree No.15/1984 on the organizational structures of ministries as already twenty-five times amended, the latest by Presidential Decree No.61 /1995.

DECIDES :

To stipulate:

THE JOINT DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE, THE MINISTER OF FINANCE AND THE GOVERNOR OF BANK INDONESIA CONCERNING SPECIAL SERVICE FOR CERTAIN EXPORTERS.

Article 1

The special service for certain exporters as stipulated in this joint decree shall be the granting of facilities of service in customs, taxation and banking affairs.

Article 2

(1) The special service as meant in Article 1 in customs and taxation fields shall be regulated by the Minister of Finance.

(2) The special service as meant in Article 1 in the banking field shall be regulated by the Governor of Bank Indonesia.

Article 3

The criteria and determination of companies as certain exporters shall be regulated by the Minister of Industry and Trade.

Article 4

This joint decree shall come into force as from the date of stipulation.

For public cognizance, this joint decree shall be announced, by publishing it in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
